These are new replacement collectors. The old collectors developed major damage due to lack of maintenance and low glycol levels which caused the headers to burst. We re-routed the supply and return lines, insulated them with fiberglass insulation and wrapped them in aluminum sheathing. The system is well insulated and working very well. We added a new solar controller and data logger so we are able to view the controller from any computer or cell phone. We set up e-mail notifications based on fluid temperatures, so we get notified in case of an anomaly. The four collectors heat a 250 gallon storage tank, which provides hot water to the 120 gallon DHW tank and provides a major portion of the building heating. Installation is N/W of Telluride, CO
